KENTUCKY Fly net
The Kentucky anti-fly nose net provides practical protection for your horse against flies and insects, while respecting his natural breathing. What really changes in practice is that your horse is more available and less irritated, even during sessions when insects quickly break his concentration.

Anti-fly features and design
- Strong, breathable mesh: insects stay at a distance, without trapping air around the nostrils.
- Anatomical shape: the mesh follows the line of the nose and stays in place, even with equipment already adjusted.
Ideal for horses sensitive to insects: for daily use and in competition
The fly net is designed for horses that are extremely sensitive to insects. In fact, it can be used in the saddle for both daily and competition use, without interfering with biting or breathing.
For your horse, it can also be used in the pasture or stable with a halter. The most important thing to look for is its compactness: it protects without adding any awkward bulk to the front of the head.
Breathable mesh and Velcro: robust flyproof design
Resistant mesh blocks insects while allowing air to circulate properly: your horse stays protected, without a feeling of oppression around the nose. What the data sheet doesn't say is that this type of comfort often limits the head shaking caused by flies.
The Velcro fastening on the noseband ensures secure, discreet attachment. Ideal if your horse works regularly with a harness you don't want to weigh down.
Anatomical shape and compatibility with all halter types
Thanks to its anatomical shape, this anti-fly noseband adapts to different types of nosebands and halters. What really makes a difference on the trail is protection that follows the anatomy without constraining your choice of equipment.
At this level of precision, I prefer this model when the horse alternates work, transport and quiet time at the stable. It's easy to integrate into a simple routine, without having to rethink the whole head adjustment.
Fly net care and washing
Machine washable at 30 degrees: easy care after regular use. To preserve the mesh's strength over time, it's best to space out washing and use a protective bag.
A high-capacity machine limits the amount of hard rubbing against the drum. For drying, air-drying is sufficient; tumble-drying should be avoided.
