Horse riding is a very physical sport and requires a lot of equipment, both for the rider and for the horse and the practice of the sport.  The traditional rider's outfit is gradually giving way to technical, comfortable outfits that respect the rider's morphology and follow all his movements. The materials used today are breathable, technical, comfortable and very pretty at the same time: softshel, microfiber, mesh and many others.  The child rider especially needs to be safe. Riding can be a risky sport and falls can be serious. It is therefore essential for the rider to be protected. The areas most at risk are the head and trunk.  The head is protected by a helmet, or bomb, which absorbs shocks. The trunk is protected by an airbag or back protector. Technological advances have enabled brands to create airbag waistcoats that inflate when the rider falls. Inspired by the airbags for motorcyclists, these items are becoming unavoidable and even the greatest riders wear them.
