Featuring a new triggering system, this airbag, specially developed for riding, inflates in less than 200 ms.
Certified by the independent laboratory ALIENOR CERTIFICATION and CE certified "à dire d'expert" according to standard NF S72-800:2022 by CRITT SPORT LOISIRS, in compliance with EU regulation 2016/425, the Spark Hippodrome Airbag Vest guarantees level 2 effectiveness once the vest is inflated.
Made from 600-denier polyester fabric, it is strong and hard-wearing.
With 3 clips for closure and a Velcro adjustment strap on the inside of the vest at waist level, the Spark Hippodrome Airbag Vest offers riders optimum protection in the event of a fall.
For added convenience, it features a quick and easy fastening system.
Once attached to the saddle with a strap, the Spark Hippodrome Airbag Vest inflates instantly when horse and rider disengage.
It protects the entire upper body, from the cervical vertebrae to the coccyx, thanks to the air released in the inner membrane when the cartridge is triggered.
The lower and upper parts of the vest, secured by a snap and a Velcro strap respectively, deploy at the lower back and nape of the neck to provide maximum coverage at the moment of impact.
Once inflated, the airbag vest absorbs shocks, cushions the rider when he hits the ground and holds his head in place.
Lightweight and breathable, the Spark Hippodrome Airbag Vest can be used at temperatures between 0°C and 45°C over other clothing, for guaranteed effectiveness.
In terms of comfort, the vest is perfectly cut in the arms for total freedom of movement, with mesh strips for enhanced breathability and elastic bands under the ribs to prevent the sensation of oppression when activated in winter, over a heavy coat.
Certified by CRITT, the Spark Hippodrome Airbag Vest is classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
In CCE, it can only be worn in official competition in addition to a protective vest that complies with current standards, currently CE EN 13158:2018 BETA level 3.

The Spark Hippodrome Airbag Vest is sold complete with a saddle tie and a Spark CO² cartridge:
45 g for children's sizes XXS and XS
50 g for adult sizes S and M
74 g for adult sizes L and XL
Warning: This vest must be used with a Spark cartridge only. The use of any other brand of cartridge, or cartridges not adapted to the size of the vest, voids all warranties and responsibilities of the manufacturer. The user assumes all liability for the use of any other brand of cartridge, or for the use of cartridges that do not fit the size of the vest.
The minimum height of the horse must be 120 cm. The children's model is triggered for a minimum weight of 30 kg. Do not use it with children weighing less than 30 kg.
